We’re finally one step closer to seeing Star Wars’ unreleased animated series, over a decade after it was originally announced. Since the launch of Disney+, Star Wars and Lucasfilm have gone all in on creating small-screen content, producing numerous live-action shows like The Mandalorian and Andor, as well as more animated hits after the success (and resurrection) of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, including Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and more recently, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord. And yet, for 13 years, Lucasfilm and Disney have kept another animated show under wraps:Star Wars Detours.
