This post contains SPOILERS for Supergirl (2026)<\/span>For the most part, the <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/tag\/dceu\/\" target=\"_blank\">DCU&#8217;s<\/a> new <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/db\/movie\/supergirl\/articles\/\" target=\"_blank\">Supergirl<\/a><\/em><\/strong>movie does a good job adapting Tom King and Bilquis Evely&#8217;s <em>Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic<\/em>. Although certain arcs are more streamlined for the cinematic experience, the emotional core and foundations of Kara Zor-El&#8217;s journey with Ruthye Marye Knoll are maintained fairly well.
